Freshwater Shrimp Farming with Miami Aqua-culture, Inc.
If you want to raise shrimp, but only have freshwater available, we can make some suggestions. We offer several types of freshwater shrimp, crayfish or "langostinos". However, most of them do not like to be crowded. Final grow-out densities are usually 1 to 10 per square meter of pond. Under some conditions, certain species of marine shrimp can be acclimated to freshwater and be raised at much higher densities (150 / sq. meter).
